August 24, 2016, the 12th Shanghai Int’l Automotive Manufacturing Technology & Materials Show just had its grand opening at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Focusing on measurement automation with robot, OGP (Shanghai) Co., Ltd landed at Quality Control & Test Pavilion of AMTS show for the third time, bringing unusual measuring experiences to the audience. Itaca FlexGauge and OGP non-contacting metrology system was connected by an intelligent robot arm. The robot feeds the parts alternately onto two systems and realizes fast online measurement without human intervention.
As a bridge jointing two independent measurement methods, the robot introduced by OGP Shanghai integrates a quick mini Cmm Itaca with a high-precision OMM Flash 200. Just program and run, the whole system will become a perfect solution for verifying composite features most efficiently, without part repositioning step, delivering a flexible and intuitive inspecting procedure, minimizing the circle time as well as measurement uncertainties.
